About David B. Raynor, DPM
Podiatric Physician
Dr. Raynor received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology graduating Summa cum laude in 1988 from Farleigh Dickinson University in NJ. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in May 1993, served his surgical residency at Wellington Regional Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL in the Podiatric Surgical Residency Program from 1993-1995. He was a podiatric surgeon at Advanced Orthopaedics of South Florida, Inc., for 3 years where he was on staff, took ER call, and performed all types of elective as well as traumatic foot and ankle surgeries at 5 area hospitals in West Palm Beach, FL. Dr. Raynor was Board Certified Diplomat in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery for 20 years from 2002 until 2022.
After starting a family with his wife in 1997, they decided to relocate to Inverness, FL, to raise their family and open his own podiatric practice. Dr. Raynor was a staff podiatric surgeon at Citrus Memorial Hospital from 1998 to 2018, until deciding to transition his practice to a non-hospital, conservative care only practice. Dr. Raynor finds most podiatric problems can be best treated with conservative measures and treatment options, and he performs minor in-office procedures as needed as well. In his spare time, Dr. Raynor enjoys spending time with his family, boating on Lake Henderson, and fixing or building anything to do with cars or his home.
Dr. Raynor is licensed in the State of Florida and is a member in good standing with the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association for more than 25 years. Dr. Raynor served as Clinical Faculty with Barry University, School of Podiatric Medicine, in Miami Shores, FL academic years 1997-1998; and served on the Surgical Evaluation Committee 1997 at Wellington Regional Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL. Dr. Raynor's health column, "Best Foot Forward" was published monthly by the Citrus County Chronicle from 1998 until 2019.
